Eldery animals….. *tear*
Shortly after Isa Leshko spent a year caring for her mother as she suffered from Alzheimer’s, she encountered a blind elderly horse living on a relative’s property. Leshko spent the afternoon photographing him, and realized that she had found a project that would help her deal with her mother’s illness. She began to visit sanctuaries across the U.S. to photograph animals that were elderly or at the end stages of their lives.
“I am creating these photographs to gain a deeper understanding about what it means to be mortal and to exorcise my fears of aging. … I also want my images to inspire greater empathy toward animals, particularly farm animals. It is rare to see a farm animal that has actually lived its natural life span given that most of these animals experience brutality and death early in their lives. … I want to challenge people’s assumptions about these animals and inspire reforms to the treatment of farm animals.”

These dudes got drunk and stole a penguin from Sea World. Yes, really.
The story was cool until the end when I found out that they released him into a CANAL instead of giving him back. WTF you assholes!
Someone buy me this dog? Kthxbye.
HE LOOKS LIKE A LION! I would name him Mufasa. This is apparently at a dog show in Shenyang, China… the dog is a Tibetan Mastiff… and he’s all “WTF ARE YOU DOING TO ME, BRO?

Dog and cat are best friends, give each other adorable massages.
oooooommmmmgggggggggg. I died. I am dead.
Here’s a perfect example showing we all really CAN get along.
I’m looking at you, Republican primary candidates. Oh wait, those are all rats. HAAAAAA I GOT JOKES, FOLKS!
This hamster is cray.
This hamster goes crazy every time his owner plays music and does backflips. d’aw.
Crazy ass gymnast monkey tries to get into a bro fight at the zoo with a tall dude
According to YouTuber NRucker5, he was told by a manager at the Memphis Zoo’s cafe that the alpha male monkey in a nearby enclosure felt threatened by him because he’s a tall male, and suggested he go stand with his back to the Plexiglas to provoke an “attack.”
HAHAHAHAHA HOLY CRAP I was not expecting that. That monkey is a bad ass, and makes me feel like every human, even the best of athletes, is totally inferior.
At what point in the evolutionary process did it become beneficial for us to lose the ability to swing around and launch ourselves at our enemies? If I could do that I would totally launch myself at everyone, all the time, and then eat their faces off. Just kidding that’s gross, but I’d launch myself at people for sure.

This is pretty much the cutest/saddest thing ever.
This bunny was found paraplegic, and the guy who found him made him a little cart!
Raising your pet into the sky like Simba = Lion King-ing….. this is way better than Tebowing.

OK, so there’s Tebowing, planking, owling….. and now LION KINGing. This is……..amazing. I’m pretty sure anyone with a cat/child/small dog has already done this before. There’s just a name for it now. You don’t have to feel so weird!
Lion kinging is raising your ____ (baby, cat, dog, hamster) into the sky like Rafiki did to Simba in “The Lion King.” And if you’re all, “Oh, I’ve done that before, but I didn’t sing the song….” SHUT UP. Don’t lie. Everyone who has seen Lion King enough times to try Lion King-ing their pet knows that f*cking song by heart. DON’T LIE. Sure, there aren’t words…. but we know the noises. AHHHH SAY HENYAAAA BABA BEE SE BABAAAAA, SAY HENYYAAAAAA…. HUMMMMMMMM
(hoarders alert at :43!!)
Unfortunately I can’t participate in this awesome new phenomenon because have two 60+ lb Golden Retrievers who are fat and I’m not ripped like Rafiki and it would hurt my arms to lift them above my head like that. Maybe I’ll steal someone’s cat a make a video with theirs and pretend like it’s mine.
Prince William and Duchess Kate add a member to the royal family…. a Cocker Spaniel puppy!

d’awwwwwww! The rumors of late have been that Kate Middleton is pregnant with twins…. but the first addition to their family is an adorable one-month-old Cocker Spaniel. SO CUTE. Here are some pictures of them walking on the beach, being uncharacteristically affectionate towards one another, probably because they knew this crap would end up on every website, including my own.

US Magazine says the couple got the puppy from one of Carole Middleton’s friends. (Carole is Kate’s mom for those of you that don’t obsessively follow this crap like I do.) They weren’t 100% ready to commit, so they took the puppy home for a little bit of time to see how they’d handle it (like any responsible adult should) and they fell in love with it, as we all do. So they kept it. And now I’m blogging about it, because I have no life.
The puppy’s name has not been released, but I’m sure rumors will start………. what do you think they should name it? I hope it’s not a people name. I HATE NOTHING MORE THAN WHEN PEOPLE GIVE THEIR PETS A PEOPLE NAME. I know someone who named their dog Jane. Like….WHAT? Stop that. Stop it now.
That dog, that I will call Marie Antoinette when referenced from henceforth, will probably live a better life than any of us can dream, and for that…. I am very sad. But I’m happy to see they, A) didn’t buy Marie Antoinette from a pet store, B) took the decision seriously, and C) got a black dog… because black dogs are not adopted as often as other dogs and are put down the most at shelters… *sad face*
Unlike everyone buying an engagement ring exactly like Kate’s, this is a trend I can get behind! Everyone go adopt a black dog or cat from the shelter… better yet, an ADULT dog or cat, because they need homes! But make sure you can give them a good home before you do it.
Golden retriever and cheetah are frannnns
Leopard ‘Salati’ snuggles up beside golden retriever ‘Tommy’ in the back of a 4×4 at the Glen Afric Country Lodge on May 04, 2010 in Pretoria, South Africa. Salati the leopard turns the assumption that dogs love to chase cats on its head by running playfully after Tommy the golden retriever. Animal wrangler Richard Brooker, 23, hand-reared 10-month-old Salati and gives her and family pet dog Tommy their daily exercise together. He takes them out into his family’s 750 hectare estate and lets them run amok, saying “Wherever you see one the other is right behind”. Rescued as an orphaned cub, Salati was donated by a local vet to the family-run country retreat, which helps to rehabilitate injured and needy animals. The Brookers’ hard work and breeding programmes with elephants, lions, and giraffes has helped boost wildlife numbers in the area. (Photo by Matthew Tabaccos/Barcroft Media/Getty Images).
d’awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
My dog… you don’t even understand. THIS IS ALL SHE DOES.
She’s a Golden Retriever as well. Then you let her in, and she tries to herd you towards the door to go out again. I DON’T UNDERSTAND!!!! What do you want from me!?! Just….talk. Tell me what you want.
Mass posting of cute animal stuff!!
Try not to laugh at that. IMPOSSIBLE, right? I laughed for like 20 seconds. The feet are the best part.
